BaCDO is a non-political organisation, founded on the conviction that a society free of exploitation — liveable, just and civil — can be built. Our aim is a developed and civil society in which everyone holds equal rights on the basis of justice.
It began with the energy and resolve of young people who believe they have a part to play in building a fair, peaceful and forward-looking society.
After five years of thinking and planning, conversations with other organisations and practical experience, we began in December 2024.
Why this organisation exists
Economic exploitation, social inequality and a stalled education system: these three realities are why a strong social movement is needed.
No country becomes developed, stable and content without securing every citizen's fair entitlement and equal opportunity.
That requires a strong constitution and workable policy, mutual support, and respect for equality.
If we commit ourselves to building a society free of exploitation — liveable, just and civil — this country will develop.
Vision
A Bangladesh free of exploitation, grounded in justice and developed in the fullest sense — where every citizen has equal rights, fair treatment and real opportunity.

What we set out to do

Establish a society built on justice, truth and fairness.

Secure ethics, honesty and accountability, and deliver social and economic progress through practical projects.

Raise public awareness of corruption and put preventive measures in place, so that governance is transparent.

What has happened so far
The organisation begins
After five years of planning, BaCDO formally starts work.
The constitution is adopted
A full constitution is published, setting out the aims, structure, membership rules and code of conduct.
Central convening committee meets
The central convening committee meets and sets the plan of work.
Special conference
A special conference is held to discuss the organisation's direction.

Runs administration, convenes meetings and oversees that decisions are carried out.

Supports the general secretary day to day.

Oversees finances and keeps budgets and spending transparent.
